v1.6: Yellow COMPASS arrow points to nearest enemy. WASD drive, click to fire cannon. Chain kills for COMBO multiplier (x2-x5).
About Recon
Recon is the stealth-scout cousin of Panzi Panzer. You drive a single scout vehicle through fog of war, revealing the map as you move. Spotted enemies can be marked with a click. Press SPACE and an airstrike screams in 3 seconds later, devastating everything in a wide radius around the marked target. You have limited airstrikes per mission – efficiency matters. Don’t get spotted and stay alive.
Controls
- WASD or arrow keys to drive the scout.
- Your vision radius reveals fog of war and spots enemies inside it.
- Click a spotted enemy to MARK it (red diamond appears).
- SPACE calls an airstrike on the nearest marked enemy. 3 second incoming timer, then 70-radius blast.
- Scout has HP – enemies shoot back if they sense you. Move tactically.
Upgrade Tree
- Optics – +25 vision radius (reveals more fog)
- Engine – +0.5 scout speed (faster patrolling)
- Armor – +25 max HP (survive more hits)
- Comms – +1 airstrike per mission
- Payload – +30 airstrike damage
Strategy Tips
- Scout the perimeter first. Drive the edges to reveal as much of the map as possible before engaging.
- Cluster mark for max value. Mark a group of enemies close together, then call the strike on the center – the radius hits all of them.
- Optics early. Larger vision = spot enemies before they spot you.
- Engine matters more than Armor. If you can outrun bullets, armor is less critical.
- Save strikes for the end. Easy enemies might fall to scout-spotted positioning alone; save your strikes for tough or clustered enemies.
FAQ
Do I shoot back at enemies?
No – you’re a scout, not a combat vehicle. Your only damage comes from airstrikes. Your job is to spot, mark, and survive.
Can I mark multiple enemies?
Yes. Mark as many as you like. The airstrike hits the nearest marked enemy to your scout when you press SPACE.
What if I run out of strikes with enemies still alive?
You lose. Make every strike count by clustering targets.
Does fog regenerate?
No – once revealed, a cell stays explored. But enemies move, so old positions aren’t reliable for new strikes.
Does scrap save between sessions?
Yes – localStorage. Upgrades carry forward.
