How to Play Sky Hawk
You command a top-down fighter-bomber in a free-roam arena. Four Biomes
- Forest (lv 1-12) — green carpet with scattered lakes. Enemy fighters appear from level 5.
- Desert (lv 13-25) — sandy plains, bunkers join the target list.
- Snow (lv 26-37) — frozen lakes, denser AA defenses.
- Wasteland (lv 38-50) — ruined battlefield with the toughest bosses.
Targets & Enemies
- Fuel Depot — 3 round tanks, no defense, big explosions on impact.
- Radar Dish — rotating dish, low HP, no shooting.
- Bunker — domed, tankier, takes more hits.
- AA Tower — pink twin-barreled gun, leads its shots, dangerous.
- Boss Base (every 5 levels) — large fortress with 4 corner turrets and a glowing core.
- Enemy Fighters (lv 5+) — patrol the map, chase you when in sight, fire forward when aligned.
Upgrades — Visibly Bolt onto Your Plane
Every kill drops scrap. After clearing a level, the hangar opens:
- Engine — speed, turn rate. Adds glowing exhaust trails at higher tiers.
- Machine Gun — damage, fire rate. Lvl 2 mounts wing guns. Lvl 4 adds outer guns.
- Bombs — payload damage, blast radius, faster reload. Bomb bay grows visibly.
- Heat-Seeking Missiles (unlocks lv 8) — homing volleys, wing-mounted pods.
- Armor — +30 max hull per level. Color-shifts your fuselage stripe.
- Plane Size (unlocks lv 15) — physically grows your airframe up to 1.6x scale.
- Laser Turret (unlocks lv 20) — top-mounted self-charging laser, auto-fires forward.
- Cluster Bombs (unlocks lv 28) — bombs split into sub-munitions for wider spread.
Tactical Tips
- Bomb where the crosshair lands, not where you are. The reticle is in world space — fly over a target and aim ahead/behind for moving fighters.
- Take out AA towers first. Pink AA flak hurts. Kill them before going for fuel depots and bunkers.
- Don’t hover over AA range. Keep moving. Strafe in, drop, peel out.
- Save scrap for missiles at level 8. Heat-seekers shred fighters and bunkers.
- Cluster bombs at level 28 — pair with high Bomb damage for absolute carpet bombing.
